Sermon on the Mount

Sermon

The Sermon on the Mount, sometimes referred to as the Beatitudes.
The term beatitude comes from the Latin noun beātitūdō which means "happiness" Each one begins with a blessing. This is not just some nice sayings but was Jesus Sermon to His Own Disciples. It is a road map taking the hearer through each state of heart required as a process to access salvation.
For example : It is impossible to have an appetite for God unless we have previously recognised our need of Him- we cannot just miss a step out!
